The South Sudan 1,000 South Sudanese Pounds banknote is part of the Bank of South Sudan’s 2021 issues. Its obverse features revolutionary leader Dr. John Garang de Mabior and a Dinka warrior spear. The reverse of the paper bill depicts two ostriches and the denomination. The banknote bears a watermark that reflects an image of Dr. John Garang de Mabior. It also contains a windowed security thread with demetalized BSS 1000. The note is 158 x 82 mm and is signed by Hon Jamal Wani Abdalla and Athian. This particular paper bill comes in uncirculated condition.
