The Namibia 30 Dollar polymer banknote was released by the Bank of Namibia on March 21, 2020 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the countrys independence. With a theme 3 Decades of Peace and Stability, the banknotes obverse design features founding president Dr. Sam Nujoma, former president Hifikepunye Pohamba, and current president Dr. Hage Geingob. The front of the note also depicts a rhino head and the bank logo in green-to-gold SPARK. The back of the paper bill displays two standing black rhinoceros and the coat of arms. Printed by Oberthur Technologies, this commemorative issue has an unknown security thread and no watermark. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
