The Cape Verde 200 Escudos Banknote was issued by the Bank of Cape Verde in 2014 as replacement banknote. It has hints of red, purple, and yellowish-green and is printed on polymer. The banknote’s obverse features writer Henrique Teixeira de Sousa. It also displays a map o Fogo, a bunch of grapes, and an embossed pen nib. The reverse shows a bunch of grapes and the Pico do Fogo stratovolcano. The banknote does not contain a watermark and security thread. It is 124 x 63 mm in size and is signed by Carlos Augusto de Burgo and Manuel Pinto Frederico. This replacement banknote is in uncirculated condition.
