This uncirculated 5 Sao Tome and Principe dobra note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Sao Tome and Principe in 2018. It is a purple polymer note that is dated 21 October 2016, bear the signatures of Americo de Oliveira dos Ramos and Helio Silva Vaz de Almeida, and measures 130 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side features the Acrea insularis butterfly, the national coat of arms, and the Central Bank headquarters building. Its reverse side shows a stylized cocoa pod, butterflies, the map of Sao Tome and Principe, the Musaranho-fingui Sao Tome shrew (Crodicura thomensis). Though the note does not have a security thread or a watermark, it has Rei Amador embossed on a clear window.
