Russia 5 Rubley 1997

The Russia 5 Rubles Banknote was issued by the Bank of Russia in 2022. The banknote has a color combination of green, pink, and brown. Its obverse depicts the Millennium of Russia monument in Novgorod Kremlin and the Saint Sophia Cathedral in Novgorod. The reverse displays the Dvortsovaya (Palace Tower), the Spasskayaa (Saviour’s Tower), and the Knyazhaya (Princess Tower) on the Novgorod Kremlin (Detinets) wall with the Volkhov River in the background. Security features include a 1-mm wide solid security thread with printed text and a watermark that reveals a horizontal 5 on the left and the Saint Sophia Cathedral on the right. The banknote is 137 x 61 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition.
