This 50 Ukrainian hryvnia note is a commemorative banknote issued by the National Bank of Ukraine for the second anniversary of the outbreak of armed conflict between Ukraine and Russia with the themes “Unity Saves the World” and “Unity Is Power!”. It is a blue and purple note that is dated 2024, bears the signature of Andriy Pyshnyi, and measures 165 mm x 80 mm. Both sides of the note are vertically oriented. Its obverse side features an outline of Ukraine, symbolizing a heart with veins extending to other parts of Europe, with a girl wearing a military helmet in the background. Its reverse side shows the national coat of arms and a composition of joined hands. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of clasped hands. The note also comes with a commemorative folder.
