This uncirculated 5 Lira Turkey note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Turkey. It is a tan note that is dated L.1970 (2009), bear the signatures of Taha Cakmak and Dr. Sahap Kavcioglu, and measures 130 x 64 mm. Its obverse side features a star, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, star and crescent. Its reverse side shows open hands, planets, atom, double helix DNA chain, science historian Aydın Sayılı and Holographic stripe. Security features include a solid security thread with printed TL 5 and a watermark of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and electrotype 5.
