This 5 Solomon Islands dollar note is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Central Bank of Solomon Islands in 2019. It is a yellow, blue, and green polymer note that bear the signatures of Dr. Luke Forau and Hon. Harry Degruit Kuma, and measures 131 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side features the national coat of arms, a yellowfin tuna, and a traditional fishing hook. Its reverse side shows a traditional spear-fishing activity. Because the note is made of polymer substrate, it does not have a security thread or watermark.
