The obverse of the banknote depicts the coat of arms of Canada and Queen Elizabeth II wearing an evening dress, a diamond necklace, and Queen Marys Cluster diamond earrings. The back of the paper bill depicts the Parliament buildings surrounded by trees on the banks of the Ottawa River with boats and logs.
