India 100 Years of Mahatma Gandhi's Return Miniature sheet 2015

In 2015, India Post commemorated the centenary of Mahatma Gandhi's return from South Africa by issuing a special miniature sheet on January 8, 2015. This release marked a significant milestone in both Gandhi’s life and India's history.​

Mahatma Gandhi returned to India on January 9, 1915, after spending over two decades in South Africa, where he developed his philosophy of nonviolent resistance. His return marked the beginning of his active involvement in India's struggle for independence.​
