The Mozambique 100 Escudos banknote is part of the 1961 issues. It is green and violet in color and measures 166 x 86 mm. The obverse side shows a horizontal black BANCO DE MOMBIQUE overprint, a Portuguese text, the Portuguese national coat of arms, and Aires de Ornelas. The reverse side features a Portuguese text and the BNU seal with a ship. This banknote uses a solid security thread and contains a watermark with a Coat of arms design.
