The Laos 1 Kip Banknote was issued by the government of Prince Souvanna Phouma in 1962. The note comes in a brown and pink color combination. Featured on its obverse is a stylized mythological angel. The reverse of the note depicts the coat of arms of Erawan, a three-headed elephant. The paper bill does not contain a security thread and watermark. It is 100 x 60 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition.
