This 25 Pesetas Spain note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Spain. It is a blue, green, orange, brown, and purple note that is dated 1928, bear the signatures of Adolfo Castano Orejon, Carlos Vergara Cailleaux and Bonifacio Burgos Delgado, and measures 121 x 81 mm. Its obverse side features de Barca monument in Plaza de Santa Ana, Madrid and Pedro Calderon de la Barca. Its reverse side shows Domingo Muñoz’s painting, “La devoción de la Cruz” (Devotion to the Cross). Though there is no security thread, there is still a watermark of the head of Venus.
