The Venezuela 100 Bolivar Fuerte banknote is part of the 2007-2017 issues. It is rust and green in color and measures 156 x 69 mm. The vertically oriented obverse side shows Simón Bolívar wearing a military uniform. The reverse side features the coat of arms, the Waraira Repano National Park (Parque Nacional El Ávila), and two black-hooded red siskin birds (Carduelis cucullata). This banknote uses a solid and windowed security thread with demetalized BCV 100 and contains a watermark with a Simón Bolívar and electrotype 100 design.
