This uncirculated 250 gulden banknote from Suriname, dated January 9, 1988, is signed by Central Bank President Henk O. Goedschalk. The note has an aqua, orange, and brown color scheme and measures 150 mm x 72 mm. The obverse side features resistance fighter Anton de Kom, faya lobi flowers, five soldiers with rifles, and a woman holding a flag. The reverse side showcases a toucan, hibiscus, heliconia, ginger, and faya lobi flowers, along with an illustration of Anton de Kom delivering a speech to a crowd. Although the note does not have a security thread, it includes a toucan watermark.
