Its obverse side features Mohammed Hoesni Thamrin, the national coat of arms of Indonesia, and an outline map of Indonesia. Its reverse side depicts a Tari Piring dancer and a view of Ngaral Sianok from Sumatra. Security features include a solid security thread with printed BI 2000 and a watermark of Prince Antasari.
