The Canada 2 Dollar Banknote was issued by the Bank of Canada in 1974. The banknote has a combination of reddish-brown, yellow, red, blue, and purple. It bears English and French text. On the obverse is the coat of arms of Canada along with the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing an evening dress, a diamond necklace, and Queen Mary’s Cluster diamond earrings. The reverse depicts six Inuits with kayaks, oars, and harpoons on Baffin Island in Nunavut. The banknote does not contain a security thread and watermark. It is 152 x 70 mm in size and is signed by R. William Lawson and Keith Bouey. This banknote is in VF condition.
