This uncirculated 25 Burmese kyat banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Union Bank of Burma in 1972. It is a brown, tan, orange, green, and blue banknote that measures 155 mm x 90 mm. Its obverse side portrays General Aung San in his military uniform. Its reverse side depicts a pinsa rupa, a mythical creature with a body of a horse, the wings of a bird, the head of a dragon, the tail of a fish, and the trunk of an elephant. Security features include a solid red security thread with printed Burmese text and a watermark of 25 KYATS and General Aung San. The banknote was demonetized in 1987.
