The Bhutan 5 Ngultrum is part of the family of notes designed by Giesecke & Devrient. This series of notes uses Louisenthals Hybrid which is composed of paper and polymer substrate. This particular Bhutan 5 Ngultrum is in uncirculated condition. Its obverse side features a DeyNga and sensory enjoyment offerings at the center. On each side is a bja tshering which is a mythical bird that brings about long life. It also shows an embossed cloverleaf. The back of the note displays the Paro Taktsang which is known as the Taktsang Palphug Monastery or the Tigers Nest. This 125 x 60 mm paper note comes with a solid security thread and signed by Tenzin.
