The Iraq 25 Dinar banknote was released by the Central Bank of Iraq in 1986. It comes in a combination of brown and green. Its obverse side features Saddam Hussein who served as the fifth president of Iraq. It also shows charging horsemen with swords, spears, and banners. The back of the paper bill depicts a city gate, a lion, palm fronds, and the al-Shaheed Monument which is also popularly known as the Martyr’s Memorial. This banknote bears a solid security thread and a watermark that reflects Saddam Hussein. It is 175 x 80 mm in size and is in used condition.
