This uncirculated 50 Jamaican dollar note is a commemorative banknote issued by the Bank of Jamaica to celebrate its 60th anniversary of independence. It is a red polymer note that is dated 01 April 2022, bears the signature of Governor Richard Owen Byles, and measures 145 mm x 68 mm. Its obverse side features George William Gordon, Paul Bogle, the national coat of arms, and the 60th-anniversary logo overprint. Its reverse side shows an aerial view of Doctor’s Cave Beach. Because it is a polymer note, it does not have a security thread. However, it has a watermark of George William Gordon and Paul Bogle.
